SKINCARE RITUALS

Non-Negotiables for That Glow

Let’s be real — skincare can feel overwhelming right!!! With all the serums, toners, and TikTok tips flying around. But it doesn’t have to be complicated. Creating a skincare ritual (not just a routine) is about slowing down, showing up for yourself, and doing the basics really well.

Here are the must-do skincare steps every Gen Z glow-getter needs — and why they actually matter.

🌿 1. Cleanser: Start Fresh

Cleansing is important because it removes dirt, sweat, SPF, and pollution that build up throughout the day.

Why it matters: A clean face = a blank canvas. It prevents clogged pores, breakouts, and helps your other products absorb better. I've been using an oil cleanser for pore control and then I use a foam cleanser for deep pores.

Tip: Use a gentle, non-stripping cleanser — especially if you’ve got sensitive or acne-prone skin.

💧 2. Serums & Moisturizer: Seal the Deal

Even if your skin’s oily, you still need moisture. It helps balance your skin and keep it healthy.

Why it matters: Hydrated skin looks plumper, smoother, and glows naturally. Plus, it keeps your skin barrier strong (aka less irritation and breakouts).

🧴 3. SPF: Protect Your Power

Girl...are you really STILL skipping your SPF?! If you're skipping SPF... we need to talk. UV rays cause early aging, hyperpigmentation, and can seriously damage your skin — even when it's cloudy.

Why it matters: Sunscreen is your anti-aging hero and protects all the work you’ve done in your routine.

Look for a lightweight, non-greasy SPF 30+ and make it your everyday thing.

4. Bonus Step: Self-Love

Take a second to breathe. Do your routine with intention. This is your moment. Light a candle. Play a playlist. Romanticize it.

Why it matters: Skincare is wellness. It’s a way to reset, reconnect, and feel your best from the inside out.

Skincare isn’t about perfection — it’s about consistency, simplicity, and doing what feels good for you. No 10-step routines. No pressure. Just the essentials that keep your skin and soul happy.
