  • Main Character Energy in Algarve

Okay but… Algarve in August?? Literally felt like I was walking on the sun, but honestly, I wasn’t mad about it. I spent two dreamy days soaking up golden beaches, eating way too much and pretending I was the main character in a summer movie. When I say Portugal was givinggg,,,,I mean sun, sea, and soft life vibes  — and I’m here for it. DAY 1: Dolphins, Thrills & Dinner Feels Algarve really said ' let’s make this a core memory .' So we spent the day at Zoomarine, in case you didn't know already, this is basically part theme park, part aquarium, and part “me living my best childhood fantasy. From rides to water attractions, we explored it all, but in my opinion the dolphin show stole the spotlight! After soaking up the sun (and probably 5 liters of water), we headed back to our hotel (Jupiter Algarve Hotel.) Dinner felt extra magical — maybe it was the food, maybe it was the post-theme park glow — either way, it was the perfect ending to a hot summer day.  Caves, Kayaks & Coastal Main Character Moments This day was giving straight-up Pinterest board come to life . Who doesn't love a boat day?! We hopped on a boat + kayak tour to explore the Algarve coastline, and it was unreal. Just imagine turquoise water, golden cliffs, and us paddling into hidden caves and secret beaches like we were in some cinematic travel edit. The Benagil Cave? Yeah… she’s that girl . I think this is obvious but did I take about 300 aesthetic pics?... YES (I have no regrets). After some much-needed rest, we did a golden-hour beach stroll — half for the experience, half for the vibes — before grabbing souvenirs (I gift-shop like a pro!). The night wrapped up with our final dinner at a cozy Italian restaurant, and honestly? It was the perfect main character farewell scene  to end the trip. I’m just so grateful I got to experience Algarve the way I did. From dolphins to hidden caves to golden sunsets, it honestly felt like a little reminder to slow down and romanticize life wherever you are, which was exactly my goal for this trip. Trips like this aren’t just about travel — they’re about memories, laughter, and those random little moments that stick with you forever. Portugal gave me all of that, and I’ll forever keep this summer adventure as one of my core memories . Stay tuned for the next travel diary :)

  • We take our prep VERY serious!

We love a GRWM moment — but what if the magic starts before  the makeup, the outfit, the hair? I really take pride in setting the vibe. Before you reach for your concealer or lay out your outfit, take a breath. This is your time. Get ready to get ready. For me, getting ready isn’t just about looking good, I think of it as a ritual of confidence, presence, and energy. When you take a few minutes to prep your space, mind, and mood, everything that follows feels more intentional. (which is also why I hate rushing to get ready). Turn a rushed routine into a moment of self-connection . 1. Before makeup, set the mood - Set the Scene What's your vibe? - Light a candle, tidy your space, and dim the lights if it’s evening. Make it feel like you’re the main character , because you are. 2. Press Play I LOVE MUSIC!...So I always have my perfect playlist on standby. Put on a playlist that fits the energy you want to carry. Chill and pretty? Try soft R&B. Confident and bold? Go for a baddie anthem. Music sets the tone — choose it with intention. Maybe you prefer listening to a podcast or watching your favourite youtuber, DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! 3. Check In Ask yourself: How do I want to feel today?  Not just how you want to look. Take a breath, stretch, sip water (or your favourite beverage) . Ground yourself.  The Makeup Hits Different After This When you prep your vibe , your GRWM becomes more than just a routine — it becomes a ritual. A soft launch into the version of you that’s confident, calm, and glowing from the inside out. So next time you glam up, remember: the real glow starts before the first brush stroke. Get ready... to get ready.

  • Low contrast please!

Low Contrast Makeup: The Soft Beauty We Can’t Stop Loving There’s a reason low contrast makeup is taking over our feeds — it’s effortless, soft, and lets your natural beauty do all the talking. When you think low contrast think seamless tones, blurred edges, and barely-there glam that still gives everything . Low contrast makeup is less about drama and more about intention  — matching your tones, enhancing your features, and creating a look that’s polished but never overpowering. Why We Love it? 1. It Enhances, Not Masks This look celebrates your skin, your undertones, your features — rather than covering them up. It’s giving real girl glow , not full-beat filter. 2. It’s Soft but Powerful Low contrast makeup gives that “clean girl,” “model off-duty,” “I just woke up perfect” vibe — subtle but striking. 3. It’s Super Wearable No harsh lines, no extreme contours, no bold color blocking. Just you, but more polished. It works for class, content, coffee runs, or date night. How to Nail the Look (products below) Base:  Use a light skin tint or sheer foundation. Let your skin breathe. Blush & Bronzer:  Stick to tones that are just a few shades deeper than your skin — cream formulas blend best. Eyes:  Use soft browns, taupes, or peach tones that melt into your skin tone. Skip the heavy liner and opt for a smudged brown pencil or just mascara. Lips:  Choose nude shades that match your natural lip tone or a tinted balm for that your-lips-but-better finish.

  • Glowing skin starts WITHIN!

I'll be honest. ... You can have the best serums, toners, and face masks on your shelf — but if you’re not taking care of what goes on inside , your glow will only go so far. The truth is: skin health starts with what you fuel your body with . Let’s talk about how your daily choices — from water to what’s on your plate — shape your glow. 🥤 1. Hydration = Hydrated Skin Your skin is made up of cells that need water to function at their best. When you're dehydrated, your skin can look dull, dry, and tight. The fix:  Drink water consistently throughout the day. Add lemon, cucumber, or berries if you need a vibe. Herbal teas count too! 🥬 2. Eat Your Glow This is why we preach about your gut health! Your skin reflects your gut health. Eating nutrient-rich foods can help fight inflammation, reduce breakouts, and boost your natural radiance. Glow foods to add: Leafy greens  (like spinach & kale) – full of antioxidants Avocados  – healthy fats keep skin soft & supple Berries  – packed with vitamin C for brightening Nuts & seeds  – zinc + omega-3s = skin barrier support 🍟 3. Limit the Glow-Stealers We’re not saying cut everything out — balance is key. EVERYTHING IN MODERATION! But too much processed sugar, dairy, and greasy fast food can  trigger breakouts, dullness, and inflammation in some people. Glow tip:  Tune into how your skin reacts to certain foods. Your body talks — listen to it. 🌿 4. Supplements (only if needed) Sometimes, food isn’t enough, skin-specific vitamins (like zinc, vitamin D, and biotin) can help. But always talk to a health professional before adding supplements to your routine.

  • SKINCARE RITUALS

Non-Negotiables for That Glow Let’s be real — skincare can feel overwhelming right!!! With all the serums, toners, and TikTok tips flying around. But it doesn’t have to be complicated. Creating a skincare ritual  (not just a routine) is about slowing down, showing up for yourself, and doing the basics really  well. Here are the must-do skincare steps  every Gen Z glow-getter needs — and why they actually matter. 🌿 1. Cleanser: Start Fresh Cleansing is important because it removes dirt, sweat, SPF, and pollution that build up throughout the day. Why it matters:  A clean face = a blank canvas. It prevents clogged pores, breakouts, and helps your other products absorb better. I've been using an oil cleanser for pore control and then I use a foam cleanser for deep pores. Tip: Use a gentle, non-stripping cleanser — especially if you’ve got sensitive or acne-prone skin. 💧 2. Serums & Moisturizer: Seal the Deal Even if your skin’s oily, you still  need moisture. It helps balance your skin and keep it healthy. Why it matters:  Hydrated skin looks plumper, smoother, and glows naturally. Plus, it keeps your skin barrier strong (aka less irritation and breakouts). 🧴 3. SPF: Protect Your Power Girl...are you really STILL skipping your SPF?! If you're skipping SPF... we need to talk. UV rays cause early aging, hyperpigmentation, and can seriously damage your skin — even when it's cloudy. Why it matters:  Sunscreen is your anti-aging hero and protects all the work you’ve done in your routine. Look for a lightweight, non-greasy SPF 30+ and make it your everyday thing. ✨ 4. Bonus Step: Self-Love Take a second to breathe. Do your routine with intention. This is your moment. Light a candle. Play a playlist. Romanticize it. Why it matters:  Skincare is wellness. It’s a way to reset, reconnect, and feel your best from the inside out. Skincare isn’t about perfection — it’s about consistency, simplicity , and doing what feels good for you . No 10-step routines. No pressure. Just the essentials that keep your skin and soul happy.

  • 24 hours in Paris...don't mind if I do :)

After two years of planning and countless moments of procrastination, I finally took the plunge and embarked on my trip to Paris! It had been a long-anticipated journey, and I was excited to make the most of my short time in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. One of my goals for 2025 is to travel and explore as much as I can and I intend to see it through. Kicking off my adventure in Paris was an excellent start! Arriving in the City of Lights After a smooth and safe flight, I landed in the captivating city of Paris. Although it was winter, the air was crisp, but I was so excited and grateful to be in Paris I think that definitely warmed me up. In the car driving to my hotel, my heart raced, I was already dreaming of croissants, cafés, and stunning architecture. As I approached my hotel, the stunning views, the bright and busy location, the many, many...many restaurants made me feel like a character in a movie and for the next 24 hours, I was determined to be the star of my own Parisian adventure. HOTEL DETAILS: Hotel - Hotel Maxim Quartier Latin Location - Latin Quarter, Paris (5th arrondissement) Perfume workshop at Musee du Parfum I started off my first full day with a perfume workshop at the Fragonard perfume museum (Musee du Parfum). I had the best morning learning all about the history of French perfumes and gaining insight into the French fragrance industry. We got to make our own small sample bottle of perfume to take home! As we made the perfume, we learnt about how to layer the scents with the base notes, middle notes and top notes... mine smelt amazing of course :) After our tour of the museum, we were shown how to properly apply different perfumes and fragrances and how to layer perfume which is a lesson I definitely needed! And of course I HAD to purchase a perfume for myself, I mean how could I not!? (REMINDER: ADD PICTURES HERE!) Galerie Lafayette I mean....who plans a trip to Paris without a little shopping?! I HAD to visit Galerie Lafayette and I loved it!!! Although it was very overwhelming...so many floors, so many shops, sooo many options, I didn't even know where to start but I got there in the end. I had to get a new charm for my bracelet so Pandora was the obvious choice! I got bought all my gifts and some new makeup from Sephora (obviously). I finished my shopping trip with a rooftop view and a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Rue d'universite Gratitude As my 24 hours in Paris came to an end, I felt fulfilled and inspired. A break in Paris is just what I needed and a great way to start my new year. Spending time alone in a new place felt invigorating. It was a solo trip that filled me with so many new ideas, a chance to recharge, explore, and create memories I will treasure forever.

  • The ULTIMATE soft glam routine!

We've got the ultimate soft glam routine for you! Soft glam is the perfect balance between effortless and polished — and yes, you can absolutely achieve it in just 20 minutes . Whether you're heading to brunch, taking content pics, or jumping on a video call, this routine will leave you glowing, defined, and put together without feeling overdone. Here's your step-by-step Soft Glam in 20 Minutes 1. Prep & Prime (2 mins) Start with a clean, moisturized face. I t's Summer so we need to hydrate and grip! Grab your favourite primer to blur pores and grip makeup — you'll look fresh and glowy all day. 2. Complexion Perfection (5 mins) I personally prefer a skin tint but for my foundation girls use a lightweight foundation for a natural base. Spot-conceal under the eyes, around the nose, and any blemishes. Blend with a damp beauty sponge or brush for a flawless finish. Set lightly with translucent powder — just the T-zone! 3. Softly Sculpt (4 mins) I LOVE a good bronzer! This add warmth to my face ( I use a powder bronzer) on the cheeks, forehead, nose and jawline. Then, sweep a soft peach or rosy blush across the apples of your cheeks. 4. Brows & Eyes (5 mins) Fluff up your brows with a tinted gel or brow pencil — keep them natural but defined. This can be optional...for eyes: Use a neutral brown shade in the crease, a shimmer or satin shade on the lid, and blend. Add a soft wing with brown liner (or smudge a dark shadow), then top with mascara. 5. Lips & Final Touch (2–3 mins) I like a brown liner but you could also use a nude or rose-toned liner, fill in with a satin or gloss finish lipstick. Lock it all in with a dewy setting spray — and you're ready to glow. SEE FULL ROUTINE HERE! - https://www.tiktok.com/@wellnessfilestwf/video/7469898266008685857

  • LEAVE THEM WHERE THEY'RE AT!

I have made the decision this year that I will no longer waste my time worrying about other people!...(sounds harsh I know....) I know it sounds bad but, there are times in life where you need to be selfish and think about your mind and soul. My mental health has been an up and down battle for years (since I was 14) and I spent years in the darkest place! .Alone, lonely and depressed are some words that come to mind. Since starting my self love journey I have come to the realisation that some people and places aren’t good for me. I happy that I have figured that out sooner rather than later because now I can stay away from anything that does not serve me. It’s harder when the people around you don’t change or evolve or refuse to accept your change OR maybe they're they are on their own journey and you're all just moving in different paths which results in your journey’s taking you to different destinations. Either way, you need to accept change and realise that sometimes you need to leave people where there at! Not everyone is on the same path as you and that’s OKAY! :)  xoxo

  • WHERE DO WE START?

IT’S TIIMEEE!!! Welcome to your new era, THE NEW YOU! It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or if you’re already an expert in wellness, this blog is here to be your guide and lead you to a life full of happiness, health, wealth, luxury and fullness.  It’s very easy to get caught up with the fast pace life, people get older, busier or start moving around a lot. So it can be easy to let your self slip away and forget to actually live your life.  WELLNESS: The quality or state of being healthy in body and mind as a result of deliberate effort. Now that we know the definition of wellness it will be easier for us to make our plan!  To reach a complete state of wellness you need to pay attention to all aspects of your life: physical, mental, social, spiritual. The idea is to create a more proactive, healthier and happier environment for yourself.  HOWEVER...it is important to note that people have different version of wellness and we’re all starting at different levels.  WHERE DO WE START? HONESTY The first step is to have an HONEST conversation with yourself about what needs to change in order for you step into your new era and become your highest self. What are you good at? What do you need to improve on? Where are you now? Where do you want to be? You can’t take this journey if you’re not ready to be honest with yourself! When I think about my journey, I had to begin with realization. I love how much I care about others but it seemed like I was giving all my energy to others and neglecting my own needs I knew something had to change. As we know know wellness isn't just about physical health; it is mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being all together. I am grateful for how far I've come, wellness is a lifelong journey, and I continue to explore new ways to nourish my mind body and soul. Everyday there is a new opportunity for grow and I approach life with an open heart. HOMEWORK As you know a big part of growth is being uncomfortable, how are you going to fix anything if you refuse to admit anything is wrong? You are going to sit down and list your strengths and weaknesses then make a vision/mood board that represents your higher self. Put this board somewhere you will always see it so it’s a constant reminder of where you’re headed!
